So You Think You Can Dance. So You Think You Can Dance was created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe as an American reality show and produced by 19 Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions. it is a dance competition show airs in the United States on Fox where it is nationwide auditions to get for the next big star. The shows premiered On July 20, 2005.
The auditions are open to all dancers with different types of dancing styles raging from street dancing, Salsa, hip hop, ballroom, contemporary, jazz, ballet, tap, and many other types of dances.
It was directed by Nigel Lythgoe in the audition and Matthew Diamond in the studio shows. The judges were Nigel Lythgoe, Mia Michaels (2010), Mary Murphy (2007–2009, 2011–present), Adam Shankman (2009–present) and was presented by Lauren Sánchez (2005) and Cat Deeley (2006–present).
