American Idol. American Idol was originated from British show Pop Idol but then inspired by Pop stars. The competition was suppose to have four (4) judges following the rules of Pop Idol, but because of different technicalities and reasons of the invited and expected fourth judge who backed out, makes the seasons starts having three(3) judges.

On the rules of the competition, once your a legal resident of the U.S. and does not hold a title from other same competition you can join, but though in every city there are thousands of auditioner, only 100-200 contestant will be sent to the producer but still competes with other aspirants from different city, the best among the said aspirants will have another audition facing the judges and be sent to the Hollywood to compete. On the first round they will be merged as a group but performed as individual, on the second round, the aspirants will be split in small groups and have a group performance, on the final elimination round, the performer choose its song and present it on the judges. There maybe a time that contestant should make and sing its own song.

The voting of the audience and the viewers using phones will help the performer on the semi-final round of the game up to the finals if they pass the semi-finals. But still the competition will not be that easy, as like some of the suppose to be fourth judges say that the reason why they did not proceed is because they cannot give criticism as deep or hard as demanded them to do.
